Intern

The United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) is an operational arm of the United Nations, supporting the successful implementation of its partners' peacebuilding, humanitarian and development projects around the world.

UNOPS has established its presence in China with three projects signed with Chinese government entities, in which UNOPS will provide advisory and technical assistance services with its expertise in procurement, project management, as well as providing capacity building to key local stakeholders.

Education:

• Applicants must be pursuing an advanced university degree, such as Bachelor's, Masters or a PhD, or be recently graduated from such studies (within the last 3 years).

 
Experience:

• While no professional experience is required for an internship, some  experience and knowledge of MS Office tools is a requirement (Microsoft Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint) is desired;

  
  

• Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin) is required.

• Strategic thinking and analytical skills;

• Very strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese

• Teamwork skills;

• Very good organization skills and methods and ability to undertake multiple tasks;

• Highly developed sense of responsibility and commitment to results;

• Ability to work in a multicultural environment
