Purpose and Scope of Assignment
The Career Coach will be responsible for the following tasks:
Career coaching

Assist UNOPS Nepal personnel in defining
career objectives.

Assist UNOPS Nepal personnel in defining
productivity objectives.

Ensure regular follow-up of coachees'
personal development plans.
Applicant support

Offer specific guidance to personnel
seeking career growth within the organisation.

Offer specific guidance to personnel
finishing short-term contracts.

Provide feedback on internal applicants'
CV, online recruitment profile and cover letter.

Assist internal applicants with interview
skills, focusing on competency-based interviews.
Leadership skills development

Organise collective training sessions for UNOPS
Nepal personnel in leadership skills (public speaking, assertiveness etc.)

Plan and host networking and/or
motivational events with inspirational speakers.
Monitoring and Progress Controls
The Career Coach is expected to maintain a register of coaching
sessions for the Nepal Office, which will be reviewed monthly.
The Career Coach is expected to prepare and maintain a training
and event calendar.
The Career Coach's performance will be evaluated through an annual feedback survey for the participants
of the coaching and leadership programmes.
