Stop TB Partnership - Special Projects Consultant

The United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) has hosted the Stop TB Partnership Secretariat since 1 January 2015, in Geneva, Switzerland.

Founded in 2001, the Stop TB Partnership is a unique and innovative global health organization that brings together partners, expertise, funding, commodities, and people-centered services in our shared mission to transform the tuberculosis ( TB) space and end TB by 2030. The Stop TB Partnership is an organization that takes bold and smart risks to serve and amplify the voices of the people, communities, stakeholders, and partners from countries affected by TB . The Stop TB Partnership is guided by three (3) strategic goals to:

• Working with the Core Group and Workstream Leads in developing and updating the necessary documents and platforms for the optimal roll-out of DATs in TB affected countries;
• Engaging and working with global and in-country partners on the roll-out of DATs in TB affected countries;
• Coordinating and participating in various calls, events, and meetings related to the optimal roll-out of DATs in TB affected countries; and
• Organizing monthly calls with the Core Group, Secretariat, and other key global and in-country partners.

• Analysing and contributing to the development of a Stop TB Partnership’s digital health technology engagement framework;
• Analysing and Suggesting different ways for the successful integration of the RTC initiative and a4i platform within the DHT Hub;
• Coordination of various calls, events, and meetings related to DHT Hub; and
• Working with internal teams and global and in-country partners to execute and support the operationalization of the DHT Hub and engagement framework.

• In internal and external calls, events, and meetings as required and always under the guidance of the head of the EASI team.

• Rapid roll-out of digital health technologies for TB and across diseases that address barriers and gaps in care models in TB affected countries.
• Reduced financial and human resource burden on country programmes and providers in TB affected countries.
• Increased provision and access to differentiated, people-centered care for TB affected communities and people.

1. Contract type: International Individual Contractor Agreement (IICA) 
2. Contract level  IICA-1 (ICS9, P2 equivalent)
3. Contract duration : Ongoing ICA – ‘Open-ended, subject to organizational requirements, availability of funds and satisfactory performance.’ But please note, the project in question is currently approved until the end of June 2021. It is not guaranteed that there will be an extension beyond this date.

• Please note, this position is based in Geneva, Switzerland and therefore, the selected incumbent will have to register with the Swiss authorities and comply with local regulations, including but not limited to - Taxation and Social Security. Additionally, the incumbent will have to purchase a Swiss based insurance (LaMal) within the first three months on contract, UNOPS will help subsidize the cost of this insurance, upon show of proof and for an amount up to 382.87 USD.
