UNOPS supports
partners to build a better future by providing services that increase the
efficiency, effectiveness and sustainability of peace building, humanitarian
and development projects. Mandated as a
central resource of the United Nations, UNOPS provides sustainable project
management, procurement and infrastructure services to a wide range of
governments, donors and United Nations organizations.
The New York
Service Cluster (NYSC) supports the United Nations Secretariat, as well as
other New York-based United Nations organizations, bilateral and multilateral
partners in the delivery of UNOPS mandate in project management, infrastructure
management, and procurement management
The Sustainable
Development Cluster (SDC) supports diverse partners with their peacebuilding,
humanitarian and development operations. It was formed by combining the
following portfolios: Grants Management Services (GMS), UN Technology Support
Services (UNTSS), Development and Special Initiatives Portfolio (DSIP) It
provides Services to partners' programmes that are designed, structured, and
managed with a global perspective and primarily serving partners that are
headquartered in New York. The SDC has a
footprint of approximately 125 countries.

service delivery for evolving United Nations mandates, anywhere in the world.
By updating skills, harmonizing practices and applying global technology, Umoja
maximizes productivity of the UN’s human, financial and material resources.
One of the most
transformative benefits which Umoja provides to the UN is the ability to conduct complex analyses of
critical data. By aggregating operational data
for analytics across functional areas within the Organization, Umoja
frees up time for higher value-added activities, which would have been
otherwise spent on inefficient,
paper-based tasks.
Following
approval by the United Nations General Assembly in December 2020, the
Enterprise Resource Planning Solution Division (ERPSD) was established on 1
January
2021. Its
primary objectives being to:
1. Improve and
support all deployed Umoja solutions
2. Continue to
innovate and introduce fit-for-purpose exciting ERP Products.
UNOPS has
signed a Financial Agreement with the Enterprise Resource Planning Solution Division
(ERPSD) and the resources will provide capacity for data conversion and
integration services ensuring ensures that Umoja analytics deployment through
the entire Organization across various Process and functional areas using
standard processes and tools in a timely and effective manner.
This is a position in UNOPS for supporting
projects carried out for the United Nations Secretariat.
The incumbent of this position will be a
staff member of UNOPS under its full responsibility.
