Champions of the Earth is the United Nations highest environmental accolade. The annual award recognizes outstanding figures from the public and private sectors and from civil society whose actions have had a significant positive impact on the environment.

 

Result of Service:

 

  1. To implement UN Environment’s annual Champions of the Earth award, and expand it with the goal of raising its prestige and global awareness as well as introducing an extensive new youth component.
  2. Expand the Communication Division’s donor partnerships with the private sector.
