  • Responsible for the support and monitoring of telecommunications systems deployed by the UN in the field and HQ. Generate reports.
  • Assist in the analysis, definition, specification and documentation of telecommunications solutions, policies, standards and guidelines. Generate and revise network diagrams and network documentation.
  • Install, configure, maintain and support equipment and systems providing ICT services.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity and infrastructure problems. Monitor and analyse the performance of ICT services. Provide information on availability of support packs, relevant firmware updates.
  • Manage cabling and infrastructure projects. Liaise with the UN if permits or authorization are required from the government or local authority. Provide advice to implementing partners of the UN.
  • Maintain asset records. Assist in the decommissioning of obsolete equipment as required by the UN regulations.
