Programme Manager

The UNOPS Somalia Country Office seeks to employ a Programme Manager to support management of its Security Sector and Justice Programme (hereinafter referred to as the “Programme") in Somalia. 

The Programme’s desired outputs include:

1)      develop political, legal, and financial frameworks;

2)     expand, train, equip, and provide infrastructure for police;

3)     expand, train, equip, and provide infrastructure to justice agencies in targeted areas;

4)     monitoring and manage risk.

• PRINCE2® Foundation/Practitioner an asset
• Programme/Project Management Professional an asset.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in programme management including strong background in operating in harsh and post-conflict situations is required
• Experience in capacity building is required
• Experience working with national governments and ministries is desired
• Some experience in UN system organizations preferably in a developing country is desirable

Full working knowledge of English is essential.
