ReliefWeb is a humanitarian information website, operated by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA). Its mandate is to strengthen the response capacity of the humanitarian relief community through the timely dissemination of reliable information on response, preparedness and disaster prevention.

ReliefWeb is seeking multiple individual contractors experienced in humanitarian and web content information management, digital tools and customer service in order  to assist in content management and coverage. Specifically, ReliefWeb is looking for a full-time home-based contractor in the New York time zone, a full-time on-site contractor in Bangkok, Thailand, and a part-time home-based contractor in one of the Americas or Europe/Africa time zones.

The full-time positions require the individual contractors to work during standard office hours in either Indochina (GMT+7) or New York (GMT -4) time zones for a minimum of 25 hours per week. The contractors are expected to provide service up to six days per week including Saturdays and/or Sundays, and/or major holidays, if needed.

The part-time position requires the individual to work 10-15 hours per week, 2-3 hours per day, however, this may slightly increase during busier periods. The actual working schedule is a subject to some flexibility, where a right balance between the team’s operational needs and contractor’s schedule could be achieved. The part-time position is home-based, and we are looking for an individual who is able to work in any of the Americas or European/African time zones (GMT-8 to GMT+3).

It is essential that you indicate your availability and time zone preference in the cover letter.
