understanding of issues related to humanitarian assistance, human rights,
emergency relief, peace building, and development; analytical capacity,
including ability to organize, process and effectively manage humanitarian
information; research skills, including evaluation of partners, sources,
relevance and reliability of information from a range of existing and potential
information partners; problem-solving skills, including the ability to apply
guidelines in the context of assignments given; knowledge of general office and
administrative support including administrative policies, processes and
