Based in Copenhagen, Denmark, the Africa Regional Office supports 6 sub-regional hubs across the Africa Region. The Africa Regional Office helps ensure that projects are executed to the highest standards, providing a shared knowledge base, and ensuring that best practices and lessons learned are disseminated between projects across the entire region.

The African Regional Office (AFR) Local Property and Contracts Committee (LCPC) Secretary works in AFR Regional Office, based in Copenhagen, Denmark. The primary focus of the AFR LCPC Secretary is running the AFR LCPC which reviews the award of all contracts in AFR over a certain value - including certain non-staff contracts - plus property disposal. The AFR LCPC Secretary ensures that the process, scheduling, and flow of information on contracts under review is timely and consistent with the established process and procedures. As a member of the Regional Office, the AFR LCPC Secretary also provides operational support in areas such as the organization of meetings, the management of assets, communications, and recruitments.
