Under the direct supervision of the Finance Specialist, the Finance Officer provides key elements of project operational financial planning, monitoring and reporting while ensuring project finances are used in accordance with UNOPS financial procedures and guidelines and related donor requirements. S/he maintains oversight and control over the financial activities including providing accurate financial information for decision making and implementation of required internal controls to safeguard the financial resources of the organization.
