ICT Senior Assistant

• High school diploma is required. A Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science or related field will be considered a strong asset

• 5 years of experience in Information Technology functions are required in combination with a high school degree. A BA or a MA degree may substitute for some or all the required years of experience respectively
• Minimum 3 years of LAN and Desktop operating systems, Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, graphics software, electronic mail systems, and related tools and techniques are required

c. Language Requirements

• Full working knowledge in written and oral English and fluency in Myanmar language required.
• Knowledge of another official UNOPS language is an asset.

Contract type: Local Individual Contractor Agreement
Contract level: Local ICA -5 / LICA-5 / ICS-5
Contract duration: Open-ended, subject to organizational requirements, availability of funds and satisfactory performance.

Terms and Conditions 

• For staff positions only, UNOPS reserves the right to appoint a candidate at a lower level than the advertised level of the post. 

• For retainer contracts, you must complete a few Mandatory Courses (they take around 4 hours to complete) in your own time, before providing services to UNOPS. For more information on a retainer contract here.
