UNOPS in Albania
To help build a more sustainable future for the people of Albania, UNOPS provides a range of services on behalf of partners – including project management, infrastructure, procurement, human resources and advisory services. With good governance and gender equality at the heart of its work, UNOPS supports initiatives in line with national strategies and priorities – including Albania’s path to European Union accession – while also providing emergency support services during times of unprecedented crises. Since the office was established in 2020, UNOPS has been providing support specifically in rescuing, repairing and renovating important cultural heritage sites and to procuring and delivering state-of-the-art medical equipment.
Background to the position:
The project “Integrated Case Management System” requires technical advisory services to strengthen and develop ICT systems for several ongoing and upcoming components. The specific project objective for UNOPS is to provide Judiciary bodies of Albania with ICT project management and advisory services, technical assistance and performance monitoring/evaluation against contracted deliverables.
The Business Management Analysts, reporting to the Senior Project Manager/ICT Advisor, are responsible for providing detailed technical analysis of the existing systems in place, guidance on the requirements for the ongoing development of new systems, and quality assurance for their implementation. They are the key liaison between the Senior Project Manager/ICT Advisor and the other project stakeholders when ensuring that all software development activities are performed to a high standard and that the project’s outcomes are achieved with good quality products.
