UNOPS Democratic Republic of Congo Multi-Country Office (CDMCO) is recruiting for this position: Country Manager based in Kinshasa, DRC (Family Duty Station).

Democratic Republic of Congo Multi-Country Office (CDMCO) Context:
As part of the CDMCO, the DRC Project Office is responsible for developing, delivering and managing a large-sized portfolio of engagements and cost effective services contributing to partners' sustainable results and achievement of UNOPS management results.
At UNOPS, Project Office portfolio size is determined by a mix of internal and external drivers, including value of engagements and prevailing humanitarian and geo-political contexts. Currently, DRC Project Office manages a portfolio of over $256 million, with 21 projects of diverse sectors and service types and over 100 personnel. The office has a strong business and partner opportunity pipeline, requiring its consolidation into firmed and signed engagements to reach double or triple its current portfolio.The DRC Project Office also manages the operational risks associated with the office’s portfolio of engagements.
As delegated by the CDMCO Director, the DRC Country Manager may represent the DRC Project Office (DRC, Burundi and Rwanda) in inter-regional and inter-governmental meetings, serving as the internal coordination point for UNOPS activities related to the Great Lakes Region, South African Development Community (SADC), and Central African Forest Initiative (CAFI), to mention a few.
The DRC Project Office operates as an integral part of the CDMCO management structure.
