UNOPS Kenya Multi- Country Office (KEMCO) is recruiting for this position: Country Manager based in Maputo, Mozambique (Familiy Duty Station)

Africa region (AFR)
The Africa region (AFR) currently consists of five Multi-Country Offices located in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya and Senegal. These Multi-Country Offices cover all of the African continent, including Francophone, Anglophone and Lusophone countries. Currently the Africa Region (AFR) is implementing a wide range of infrastructure, procurement and transactional projects in over 40 countries.
Kenya Multi Country Office (KEMCO)
The KEMCO is responsible for developing, delivering, managing and implementing a portfolio of projects an programmes spread across multiple countries. The KEMCO provides strategic direction, operational support, delivery oversight and assurance of the excellence of organizational processes and quality standards across all of the countries served by the Office, including the country where the MCO is based.
Mozambique Office
The Mozambique Office operates as an integral part of the KEMCO management structure.
As part of the KEMCO, the Mozambique Office is responsible for developing, delivering and managing a portfolio of engagements and cost effective services contributing to partners' sustainable results and achievement of UNOPS management results.
The Mozambique Office manages the operational risks associated with the office’s portfolio of engagements.
The Role
The Country Manager reports to the Multi Country Office Director who provides strategic direction, oversight and guidance.
The Country Manager also works in close collaboration with the MCO Head of Support Services and the Head of Programme.
The Country Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring and supervising the delivery of engagements and operations in the country - including liaison and engagement development activities as well as delivering timely and cost effective services for sustainable results by partners and stakeholders.
