UNOPS ETMCO is recruiting for this position: Communications Senior Officer - Digital and Content (Photographer) Retainer based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

This is a local position, and is hence open to Ethiopian nationals only.



Established in 2009, UNOPS Ethiopia Office has been providing services to various partners, including the government of Ethiopia, UN agencies such as WHO, UNHCR and WFP, and other international organizations. Since 2014, the UNOPS Ethiopia multi-country office manages and coordinates the UNOPS activities in Ethiopia, as well as Sudan and Djibouti. The UNOPS Ethiopia multi-country office team is composed of approximately 100 national and international women and men and offers a broad range of services such as infrastructure, procurement, project management, and financial and human resources management.


The role of the Communications Senior Officer - Digital and Content (Photographer) is to provide professional photography, videography, and media content creation services for the coverage of UNOPS projects. It aims to increase the visibility and awareness of UNOPS and its partner's efforts to create a lasting impact through humanitarian and development projects. The photos and videos should be of a professional editorial quality, in line with the UNOPS branding and other applicable guidelines and the regional exposure UNOPS aims for via its website and social media.
