The UNOPS Information Technology Group (ITG) unit is focused on innovation and harnessing cutting-edge technology to deliver solutions to UNOPS that truly address business needs. Working with UNOPS IT Group is a unique opportunity to deliver systems to users around the world - making an impact on development and solving practical problems for the UNOPS workforce and thereby helping people build better lives and countries achieve peace and sustainable development.
ITG’s goal is to provide greater effectiveness, efficiency, and differentiation to UNOPS products and services. UNOPS IT Group is responsible for architecting, designing, delivering, and managing all UNOPS IT infrastructure and business applications. The unit includes Enterprise Architects, Business Analysts, Solutions Designers, Developers and QA Testers from all around the world who are based primarily in Denmark and Thailand.
Key functions of the Consultant
UNOPS web applications and IT solutions feature data visualizations and interactive elements that are crucial to delivering an exceptional user experience. Ensuring these experiences are responsive and accessible is a top priority.
While the frontend developer will report to a Team Lead/Product Manager from an organizational perspective, their day-to-day work will be embedded within Scrum projects. In this capacity, they will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including members from other departments, such as the Design and Digital Visibility Architect and IT colleagues. As an integral member of the Scrum team, the frontend developer will contribute to the iterative delivery of online visibility products through the following responsibilities.
