The UK MOD have partnered with UNOPS for the provision of specific support services to their troops, who are in the process of deploying to two locations in northern South Sudan.  To this end, in both locations (Malakal and Bentiu) Facility Managers are required to manage those elements of the Project Management Team (PMT) – to ensure the timely delivery and to standard quality services to the British Army’s Royal Engineers and support troops. 

The Senior Logistics Associate will be based in Juba and reports to the Project Manager through an Operations Officer who will provide broad supervision and guidance. The role is responsible for assisting in the provision of all project operations related to supporting project personnel, transport and storage of project equipment and supplies in South Sudan. He/she will need to identify probable issues that may require attention, supporting problem analysis and solution identification as may be necessary, coordinate resolution as per those action-items which may be assigned. The role is in support of project work which often takes place in complex and challenging environments with sometimes only limited resources.
