The United Nations Mission in DRC (MONUSCO) requested UNOPS to provide HR and technical support services and provide administration support to MONUSCO Individual Contractors across the country in order to optimize their operational activities. The project provides general HR management services including technical, contractual, financial and administrative support for around 1,200 ICs in the area of service delivery and administrative sections which are directly supervised by the UN mission.

The project comprises multiple services such as the issuance and management of customized regular and projects contracts, processes the monthly payroll of the contracted partner personnel, consolidate and maintain the established Database/Roster for the MONUSCO-UNOPS contractors.  

The TSS Project Manager reports directly to the Head of Programme who provides direction and general supervision. The PM  is responsible for programme development planning and preparation and for managing all stages of programming to achieve results in the area/s of responsibility.  The role contributes to the development and implementation of strategies to enhance the competencies and position of UNOPS in sustainable project management and services to partners, stakeholders and UN system partners.

The post is based in Goma with frequent missions to the field.
