UNOPS
Congo Multi-country Office (CDMCO) is based in Kinshasa and covers 15
countries, in Central Africa, among which the African SIDS countries
(Mauritius, Seychelles etc.). The Multi-country Office is responsible for
managing the strategic and operational risks associated with part of the
regional portfolio of commitments, while developing and delivering financially
efficient services that contribute to sustainable results for partners and to
the achievement of UNOPS managerial results. The key functions of the
Partnership Development team are to develop business opportunities in the
sub-region as well as to expand CDMCO's program portfolio.
To
expand our work in these countries, by strengthening our value proposition,
fortifying our internal capacity to respond rapidly to funders’ and
government’s requests, enhancing our added value in our contribution to UNCT in
the UNSDCF process and to the country’s National Development Plans, UNOPS is
recruiting multiple Partnership Senior Analysts to support the development of
technical project proposals that will help to build further the portfolio
in DRC, Burndi, Rwanda and the SIDS countries (Mauritius, Seychelles
etc.).
Under the overall guidance and supervision of the Multi-country
Office Director and Head of Partnerships for the Multi-country Office, the
Partnership Senior Analysts will conduct technical analyses, inputs and reviews
for developing project documents and proposals in the area of (but not limited
to) environment, agriculture, water, energy; particularly solar systems and
mini grids. The Partnerships Senior Analysts will work in close collaboration
with the Partnership Development Unit team, Programme and project teams in
CDMCO, for successful programme and project development activities to include
their technical reviews and analyses.
