Training Assistant

• Administer, organize and conduct ICT training programs for enterprise applications based on Siebel, Oracle, SAP, SAP HANA, SharePoint and other enterprise systems. The UN already has a training programme available for Umoja, the UN’s implementation of SAP that is available to the vendor. For more information please visit https://umoja.un.org/content/essmss. Administer, organize and conduct training programs ICT programmes for example, Information Security awareness.
• Assist in the coordination of ICT learning and development. Assist in organising ICT learning events Arrange facilities and liaise with external learning providers.
• Update and control training records, including attainment of certificates and accreditations. Maintain the Learning Catalog.

Education:

High school diploma is required.  An Associate’s degree Information Systems, Computer Science or relevant certification is a plus and may replace for some of the minimum years of required experience.

Experience:

·         Minimal 5 year experience administrating, coordinating and providing training events, preferably related to Siebel, Oracle, SAP, SAP HANA and SharePoint is required.

Desirable:

·         Ability to provide a professional interface with the user community. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Attention to detail. Proven ability to work under pressure. Ability to work outside normal working hours if required

·         Knowledge of office management systems and procedures. Proficiency in MS Office

Language:

Fluency in written and oral English is required. Knowledge of another United Nations official language is an advantage

For example, within the United Nations Development Programme, the Cluster works with the Bureau for Policy and Programme Support and the Office of South-South Cooperation.

The cluster also supports the United Nations Secretariat, as well as a broadening community of other New York-based United Nations organizations in the delivery of project management and implementation services
