Education:
Advanced university degree in Information Systems,
Computer Science or Engineering or related fields. A first level university
degree with a combination of 2 additional years of relevant experience may be
accepted in lieu of advanced university degree. High school diploma with
additional years of relevant experience may be accepted.
Experience:

Experience in operating UAVs
using the remote control and on-screen console. Experience with the weather
conditions, vegetation and rural and urban environment in which the UN operates.
Deep understanding of map navigation, GPS waypoints and tracks.
Desirable:
· HIGH sense of responsibility.
Operational thinking. Ability to prioritize. Ability to honestly judge
self-actions. Experience in client facing roles and the ability to provide a
professional interface with the user community. Good interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail. Proven ability to work under pressure. Ability to work
outside normal working hours.
· Industry recognized
certifications are an asset. Adeptness to continuously learn new developments
in drone technology. Military experience is highly appreciated.

Fluency in French and other
official UN languages may be required in certain locations.

English is required. Knowledge of another United Nations official language is
an advantage
