Education:
Advanced university degree in Information Systems,
Computer Science or Engineering or related fields. A first level university
degree with a combination of 2 additional years of relevant experience may be
accepted in lieu of advanced university degree. High school diploma with
additional years of relevant experience may be accepted.
Experience:

Experience with the weather
conditions, vegetation and rural and urban environment in which the UN
operates. Deep understanding of map navigation, GPS waypoints and tracks.

Experience in using sensors such
as electro-optical, infrared etc.
Desirable:
·
HIGH sense of responsibility.
Operational thinking. Ability to do real time analysis and coordination.
Ability to prioritize. Ability to honestly judge self-actions. Experience in
client facing roles and the ability to provide a professional interface with
the user community. Good interpersonal skills. Attention to detail. Proven
ability to work under pressure. Ability to work outside normal working hours.

Ability to process aerial images
and data from drones to produce 2D and 3D geo-products such as image maps and
DEMs is desirable
·
Industry recognized
certifications are an asset. Adeptness to continuously learn new developments
in drone technology. Military experience is highly appreciated.

Fluency in
French and other official UN languages may be required in certain locations.
Language:

Fluency in written and oral
English is required. Knowledge of another United Nations official language is
an advantage
