We are recruiting an enthusiastic and innovative Human Resources Analyst to join the team and contribute to our global offerings. As part of the People workstream, this role will ensure UNOPS HR is aligned with strategic initiatives, with a special attention on diversity and inclusion. The latter is currently focusing on improving the gender and national diversity within our workforce.
The position reports primarily to the Head of Talent Management with a secondary reporting line to the Talent Outreach Advisor. The incumbent will develop, implement and coordinate a large scope of global human resources initiatives. The HR Analyst will contribute to foster a positive work environment, respectful of both men and women, and ensure that the highest standards of conduct are observed.
The Human Resources Analyst is expected to support us in re-thinking our HR/Recruitment practices and further refine our work. A sound understanding of international best practices, together with an open mind for innovation, while being focused on delivering practical solutions is critical.
Talent Management
This role will require an understanding of business needs and an ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.
Functional responsibilities in Talent Management might include:

Under the guidance of the HR Specialist, support recruitments and selections for business critical positions, including roster/talent bench management. Playing an active role in identifying suitable candidates for succession planning; providing input to HR policies and related processes as required.

Under the guidance of the HR Specialist, contributing to individual performance management, such as developing and rolling out related tools and processes.

Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to further strengthen the Talent Management function in UNOPS, as such delivering on related activities.

Provide Career Development support for internal colleagues, and actively contribute to that function.
Talent Recruitment Outreach
The HR Analyst will work on strengthening UNOPS capacity to source and attract the best talent from very diverse countries such as Central African Republic, Denmark, Jordan, Mexico, Myanmar, Ukraine and beyond. In this role, the incumbent will actively contribute to improve the diversity in our recruitment pipeline. The role will require a highly relationship-driven approach to build and sustain global, regional and local networks that will expand UNOPS diverse talent network.
Functional responsibilities in Talent Recruitment Outreach might include:

Identify and implement sourcing systems, tools, and approaches to help us identify and attract qualified candidates.

Identify and handle direct candidates searches for specific recruitment processes (headhunting) such as for technical positions in hardship location.

Contribute to develop innovative recruitment campaigns including media, print, web/online content and event promotion for brand awareness.

Promote and communicate UNOPS as an employer of choice, through relevant job fairs, social media platforms and other appropriate channels.

Collaborate with UN agencies on joint outreach activities, as required.

Stay ahead of recruitment and outreach trends and be proactive to engage new ideas to widen recruitment sources and candidates.
