Investigations Specialist - Due Diligence (Retainer), Multiple positions

Under the overall supervision of the Manager of Investigations Section, the Consultant is required to assist with various due diligence, research and analysis in support of IAIG’s audit and investigations.  For cases assigned to him or her, the Consultant will:

• Conduct in-depth due diligence research into companies and individuals.
• Gather information from public record, media sources, the internet, and commercial databases.
• Use Lexis-Nexis, Accurint, Dun & Bradstreet and Factiva in complex investigative due diligence research.
• Retrieve and organize information from social media, chats, forums, news feeds, and other sources of data openly available on the internet.
• Evaluate and analyse large volumes of information from a wide range of sources to identify patterns, facts, useful information or evidence.
• Decide and draw conclusions based on the evaluation of the research.
• Create reports which represent the steps taken, the data sources reviewed and the conclusions drawn from the research.

• An advanced university degree (Master's degree) in law, accounting or a related area. 
• A first-level university degree (Bachelor's degree) in combination with qualifying relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.  A Diploma in Criminal Investigation from a national law enforcement agency or police academy and significant relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the above academic qualifications.

Contract level: IICA 2 (Retainer) 
Contract duration: One year initially, renewable subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability
