Under the direct supervision of the unit manager (CPC), the CPC knowledge management specialist shall be responsible for the following:
Knowledge Management
Knowledge Capture and Organization:

Design and implement systems for collecting, storing, and categorizing procurement knowledge, including documents, reports, best practices, lessons learned, and other relevant information gained from CPC submissions and reviews

Ensure the quality and accuracy of information in knowledge repositories.
Knowledge Sharing and Dissemination:

Facilitate knowledge sharing initiatives to encourage collaboration and information exchange among units across UNOPS.

Establish platforms and channels (e.g., intranet, knowledge bases,) to disseminate CPC knowledge effectively.
Knowledge Retrieval and Accessibility:
Monitor and Evaluate Knowledge Management Efforts:

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of knowledge management initiatives.

Regularly assess the impact of knowledge management efforts and make recommendations for improvement.
Collaborative Projects and Innovation:

Collaborate with teams across UNOPS to incorporate knowledge management principles into project planning and execution.

CPC Secretariat Management

Manage a team of two assistants

Ensure weekly routine meetings are adhered to

Ensure minutes of meetings are shared with submitting units

Organise quarterly briefing minutes with UNOPS regions

Coordinate knowledge sharing with HQ units

Organise training sessions with various stakeholders

Maintain updated units reporting data and KPI

Manage the CPC budget
