The Role

The HR Analyst, Support and Advocacy works under the supervision of the HR Specialist, Support and Advocacy based in UNOPS HQ, Copenhagen. 

They assist in providing  support to alleged victims of workplace misconduct (harassment, discrimination, abuse of authority, sexual harassment, sexual exploitation and abuse) as well as other personnel in need, with a focus on duty stations where Spanish and French are officially recognized as national languages. 

They organize and prioritize their work, coordinating the delivery of multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and engaging with a variety of stakeholders in alignment and consultation with the HR Specialist.

The HR Analyst job is remote/ home-based, but you need to live in a place where the UNOPS has offices in the Latin America and Caribbean Region (LCR).

• Advanced University (Master’s) Degree in related fields such as Law, Social Justice, Human Rights, Behavioral Sciences, Psychology, Social Sciences, or related field  is required. OR

• First University (Bachelor’s) Degree in  Law, Social Justice, Human Rights, Behavioral Sciences, Psychology, Social Sciences and/or other related fields in combination with additional two (2) years of relevant experience will be accepted in lieu of the advanced degree.

• A minimum of 2 years relevant experience in protection/safeguarding, OR social work, OR gender-based violence, OR prevention and response to workplace misconduct and/or a combination of the above within international development and/or humanitarian aid is required

• Working experience within the geographical context within Latin America and Caribbean will be required 

• Proven experience in individualized case management and interdisciplinary coordination and, as well as providing support to survivors of abuse is highly desirable

• Working for the UN and/or an NGO is desirable.

• Experience in developing and facilitating trainings, in particular capacity-building, and promoting behavior change through communication is desirable

• Report writing and knowledge management is an asset

• Fluency in English and Spanish are required.

• Fluency in French is an asset.
