ITG’s goal is to provide greater effectiveness, efficiency, and differentiation to UNOPS products and services. UNOPS IT Group is responsible for architecting, designing, delivering, and managing all UNOPS IT infrastructure and business applications. The unit includes Enterprise Architects, Business Analysts, Solutions Designers, Developers and QA Testers from all around the world who are based primarily in Denmark and Thailand.
Role of the QA Tester
Reporting to the QA Team Lead, the QA Tester will assure that software is tested according to Quality Assurance mechanisms and identified standards. Testing will be done throughout the SDLC from testing requirements during the development phase to testing before functionality is moved to production. The QA Tester will communicate with business stakeholders, business analysts, development teams and the deployment team.
The ideal candidate for this position can quickly and easily learn to use applications of medium to high complexity and is willing to continue with QA or Technology education as appropriate to ITG. Given the nature of the position, it is essential that the incumbent effectively demonstrates the ability to accurately estimate work effort, keep commitments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
