Under the supervision and guidance of the Training Officer, the Associate Training Officer will carry out the following duties and responsibilities:
Support the Training Officer in the coordination of the change management programme/project,its planning and preparation, including for end users, monitoring the status of planned courses and completion rates, and maintaining waiting lists and other relevant programme documentation.
Deliver and facilitate online learning (Webex sessions) of core HR and Travel modules, identifying and explaining the main core impacts with the Umoja Foundation solution
Develop and maintain User aid materials and participant exercises by advising on likely business scenarios and providing feedback based on actual inclass experiences.
Develop, review and validate the HR and travel training curriculum, the compendium of training materials and ensure that the information therein meets training objectives and needs of end users.
Identify gaps between existing materials and new Umoja developments and enhancements
Participate in user groups outreach programmes by actively collaborating with SuperUsers to bring about business transformation through training, mentoring and coaching.
Adopt the TrainTheTrainer approach in training and supporting support other Process Experts in the delivery of instruction for HR users.
Provide procedural and policyrelated inputs into the development of training materials, SOPs and quick reference guides.
Administer evaluation surveys and training effectiveness assessments.
Provide triage support, ensuring timely issues identification, resolution and appropriate
escalation.
Conduct orientation briefings and training sessions.
Assist the Training Officer on the refinement and validation of the Master Course schedule foreach rollout.
Test Preparation: ensure that the test scenario, data, roles, User ID, testing environment are ready for testing.
Test Execution: execute the test scenarios prior to any training delivery/workshop to make sure that all the exercise are fully tested.
Defects Management: inform Umoja process expert about defects in the execution of the test scenario, conducting retesting when defects are fixed
