The Role 

To deliver the UNOPS Integrated People Strategy, the People and Culture Group is developing  several new programmes, systems and processes, and managing the associated change processes.

Our vision for career development and mobility is to ensure our people have the opportunities to develop their skills by moving through roles laterally in a variety of functions, organizational contexts, and duty stations, enabling them to develop a well-rounded set of skills and capabilities. 

The HR Advisor, Global Mobility will report to the Deputy Director, People and Culture.  It is a specialized and experienced HR role, which will have responsibility for developing and designing a pilot for the UNOPS international mobility framework.  This includes the global mobility architecture and an interlinked career progression approach which allows for internal exchanges of personnel and stretch assignments throughout the organization.  These frameworks will be applied to a range of internal contexts including UNOPS staff members and International ICA contract holders, as well as international and national workforce.

This is a limited term contract of maximum 6 months duration. The work may be conducted from any location, including home-based.  Part time work hours may also be considered.
