The UNOPS South East Asia and Pacific Multi Country Office (EAPMCO), established in 2017, supports, develops and oversees the UNOPS portfolio of projects in South East Asia and the Pacific. With its head office in Bangkok, the Multi-Country Office comprises five main business units: EAPMCO Thailand, EAPMCO Indonesia, EAPMCO Pacific Operations Cluster, EAPMCO Papua New Guinea, EAPMCO China, EAPMCO Cambodia, EAPMCO Laos, EAPMCO Vietnam, and EAPMCO Philippines.
EAPMCO Indonesia
Since setting up a presence in Indonesia in 2005, UNOPS has delivered more USD 200 million in development assistance through projects in the areas of health, environment, governance, rule of law and disaster risk reduction. UNOPS current portfolio includes activities with the UN Global Pulse, Environmental activities with UNEP and activities with ASEAN on marine plastics.
The Indonesia Project Office operates as an integral part of the Multi Country Office management structure. The Country Manager reports to the Multi Country Office Director who provides strategic direction, oversight and guidance. The Country Manager will also work in close collaboration with the MCO Head of Support Services, the Head of Partnerships and the Head of Programme. The Country Manager role is responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring and supervising the delivery of engagements and operations in a given country - that includes liaison and engagement development activities as well as delivering timely and cost effective services for sustainable results by partners and stakeholders.
